There aren't many protein powders out there that I can honestly say I feel comfortable drinking through the day, but this one is one of those. It doesn't bloat, my tummy doesn't get irritated. It seems to agree with my digestion! I reveiwed before and the only downside is there is only one flavour to choose from which is why I dropped a star, but I had feedback to say this is something that is being looked at. I look forward to seeing more flavours one day! But for now this is my go to protein powder

I have been having an EatProtein shake for breakfast for a couple of months now - and Inam loving it.
Instructions say to mix it in 250 mls - in fact I use a full 500 mls od semi skimmed milk for my mix and can still taste the lovely vanilla flavour.. I admit I am a huge fan of vanilla anyway and this shake has none of the artificial vanilla flavour that I have encountered elsewhere. I have also tried it with coconut milk but just plain cow's milk is good for me and always available if I am away from home.
That morning shake with a piece of fruit fills me up without any hunger pangs til lunchtime.
Quick. Very easy to mix and DELICIOUS!

I wanted a plant based protein as I already consume a lot of dairy produce. This one is very pleasant on its own, with water but even better with a serving of yoghurt mixed in. My go to breakfast which keeps me satisfied til lunch - no snacking needed!

I've tried soooo many other protein powders & the ones that tasted good had milk or soy or sucralose or oats or all of the above that just made me bloat like a helium balloon. Although I would mainly buy protein meal replacements which are thicker in consistency, this protein power has achieved what I needed it to as I don't even feel hungry afterwards & some of the "well known brands" still made my belly rumble & also had the cheek to bloat it at the same time! May you develop a strawberry flavour but in the meantime.. this vanilla, along with the added benefits, is spot on! Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏾

I have struggled for a while to find a shake that is not too sweet or powerdy, or made with milk. This shake is prefect for me as it has a suttle taste of vanilla and mixes great within seconds. Lots of extra vitamins and fibre which supports me on my GP1 journey, I would highly recommend.

Why did you choose this product over others?:This is the best protein powder I've tried so far—it doesn't taste overly or artificially sweet, isn't grainy, blends quickly and is great value for money! When made up it's not too thick, and when blended with other ingredients like adding a banana, makes a perfect protein meal replacement or snack. The texture is creamy and reminds me of a milkshake, it is so lovely to drink compared to some other brands.

I love anything vanilla flavoured, so I was a bit disappointed that the vanilla flavour was tinted with that sweetener undertone, but it was still drinkable.I was very shocked and impressed at how well the powder mixed with liquid; I didn't need to use a blender or whisk to remove lumps, as there were none. The price at the time of review is £18.95, which I think is fantastic value, as you get a whopping 1.8kg of protein powder for less than £20, which will last a while with the proposed serving being 30g.This plant-based protein and wellness powder is impressively dairy, lactose, gluten, and soy free. If you are looking for a shake to help up your protein intake, a post-workout shake, a general wellness shake, or an easy breakfast, then this fantastic protein powder is for you.

This protein powder isn’t bad at all. I have it with lactose-free milk, and while it has a bit of an aftertaste, it mixes well and tastes fine overall. I prefer it with the milk than just with water, which is what the pack recommends, I suspect it would also be better with something like Almond milk, but I've not tried.I appreciate that it’s clearly marked gluten free and actually is, as a coeliac, I’ve had issues with other brands claiming to be gluten free but still carrying a “may contain” warning, which is a dealbreaker.Another bonus is that the 1.8kg pack comes split into three smaller bags, which makes storage much easier in my small kitchen. Overall, it’s a decent option and feels cleaner than a lot of other protein powders on the market.

This is a vegan protein powder in vanilla flavour, it comes in a resealable pouch and has a measuring cup included. This powder seems to be a lot easier to mix than the milk based protein powders I've had in the past, I just add the powder into my bottle with either water or milk, close the lid and shake. This doesn't seem to need a special agitator to get it mixed and is totally lump free. The vanilla taste is not my favourite and there is a slight bitterness but it is drinkable enough. This protein powder is not quite as good value as some milk based proteins but I think the ease of mixing makes up for that.

I’ve been looking for a clean, plant-based protein powder with no artificial sweeteners or added sugar — and this one is exactly what I needed! The vanilla flavour is subtle and not overly sweet. It mixes well with both water and oat milk, and doesn’t leave that gritty texture some vegan powders do.I also love that it’s dairy, lactose, gluten, and soy free — perfect as I am lactose intolerant. It feels light and smooth, so I’ve started using it daily as a post-workout shake. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a simple, clean, wellness-focused protein option.

I have waited for this to come back in stock and bulk bought to be on the safe side!
I mix it with yoghurt and it mixes so well and make a gorgeous creamy vanilla yogurt. It’s a little insipid with water so would probably have it with oat milk if I was having as a drink

Vegan protein powder isn't my usual go-to but this one I quite enjoyed. It mixes well with no powdery aftertaste/powder at the bottom of my drink. The vanilla flavour is pleasant and not too sweet. It's got some great vitamins in it and while I doubt it's going to be giving me as much as it claims it's still nice to have any boost to my vitamin intake. It mixes easily into cows milk and vegan alternatives. I've used it the same as my usual protein powders and I can't really tell the difference. Overall I'm impressed with this, but I do think the £73.50 is very expensive!

Totally new to protein powders so in fairness I've nothing to compare this one to. Having said that I couldn't make my way through a glass. It smelt bad and tasted like it smelt. I see other reviews saying it's delicious and creamy so I'm thinking perhaps all protein powder taste bad and this is a decent tasting one in comparison. The packaging is good and powder plentiful. It was very informative actually and if I could force myself to down 250ml I probably would tolerate it for the health benefits although would probably add a scoop of nesquik. Somebody advised me to try it with milk instead of water also.I always thought protein shakes were for the super fit for before the gym however after reading the description I think it would be highly beneficial to anybody's diet. It doesn't taste good, so it must be healthy right?

EatProtein is an excellent pea-based vegan protein supplement. Three 600g ziplocked bags are included in the 1.8kg packet (which helps preserve freshness). Each 30g scoop makes up 250g of vanilla flavoured drink and is packed with vitamins, minerals, fibre and digestive enzymes.A transparent scoop is included (though you might have to fish around the packet to find it) - and being transparent means you can actually see if there are air-pockets in your scoop (so you can make sure you are getting the full 30g).Powder is finely ground, and after a few shakes in my mixer bottle, had no problem dissolving completely into water without clumping. Flavour is a "pleasant" (but not "delicious") and not so terrible to stop me taking it daily. Consistency is thicker than water, but much less than a smooth milkshake. Also you might notice that you get a little more gassy initially, but this does go after a few weeks once your gut flora adjusts.Overall, I love that this is a protein supplement formulated with women in mind, and although it's not "delicious", you really do get used to it and it doesn't taste so bad.

Description says that this protein powder is for women but all the ingredients the powder contains are something we normal get from our diet anyway, and although I prefer the whey protein, I have days where I'm staying away from animal sourced diet and I switch to vegan so I'm not afraid of consuming some of this powder myself. It seems that it contains other vitamins and minerals as well, aside from protein, and I like that it also has healthy gut bacteria which help with digestion and ultimately assimilation of nutrients. It mixes well and has an ok vanilla taste which I don't find bad nor terrific, it's okay and leaves a bit of a floury aftertaste but I'm very pleased with the ingredients.I have used it before and after gym sessions and has given me the energy I needed so I feel like this is a very good plant-based almost meal-like drink in terms of nutritional value.

I ordered this protein drink designed with womens health in mind to add a little extra protein to my day. I had already been drinking Huel black label as a complete meal for breakfast. I find having protein/meal drinks to be more suitable to my busy lifestyle. I wanted to add another suitable protein drink to my afternoon post workout routine to boost my energy and protein intake. I had been looking through options when the opportunity to try this came to me. After ordering, this arrived early the next day with the 3 pouches in a box. I opened the first pack and mixed it up as per the instructions with chilled water. After giving it a good shake, I put it in the fridge to thicken up a bit while I set about my usual daily workout. I grabbed this out of the fridge and found it to be a pleasant, smooth, creamy texture. It doesn't have lumps and bits in like the Huel does. It has a sweet taste due to the stavia sweetener used. The taste is very nice, although the stavia does linger on after drinking. A 30g portion of the poweder provides 20g of protein and works out at just 106 calories, helping me get the protein I need while helping me keep to the calorie deficit I am aiming to maintain. I really like that it is free of many of the most common allergens, including gluten, lactose, dairy, and soy. I find the drink keeps me feeling full a good few hours, so I do not feel the need to snack before dinner. This drink has been thoughtfully crafted with womens health in mind, with each portion also containing 100% of your recommended B6, flolic acid, and B12. These help to support hormone balance, promote a healthy nervous system, and help your body break down and use protein efficiently. I feel full of energy, having added this drink to my daily routine, and I couldn't be without it at this point. It has been a great boost to my fitness journey as I continue to get fitter and healthier. At £1.23 per serving, I do not find it to be expensive and will happily continue with these and hope to see additional flavours in the future.

Nice plant-based protein + Wellness Powder is a delightful vegan protein option crafted for women, emphasising gut health, immunity, and overall wellness. It's wonderfully free from dairy, lactose, gluten, soy, artificial sweeteners, and added sugars, offering a clean and natural choice for anyone on a plant-based or allergy-sensitive diet.I like the high fibre content, which supports digestion and gut health. This protein is free from gluten, dairy, lactose, and soy and contains no artificial flavours, sweeteners, or added sugars. The price is higher than some standard vegan protein powders, but it works better for me, considering the clear Ingredient List—no artificial sweeteners, flavours, or additives.Overall, I am delighted!

I got this for my partner who has recently started a new fitness routine. She's not vegan or gluten free so wasn't looking for a free-from product but this compares well with other protein powders she's tried - not particularly worse in any dimension, and it also contains a good range of nutrients too. Easy to mix, and comes with a scoop which is helpful for easy mixing. It mixes fine, she makes it with water and sometimes with a bit of milk to make it a bit creamier. She also uses it in baking or smoothies to up the protein content and says that it works well since it's not a particularly strong flavour, and vanilla goes with most things. Only thing to bear in mind is it's quite sweet so worth reducing some of the sugar in the recipe when you do this. Generally she's very happy with it.

This is soo much more than just a protein shake. It's derived from plants. It's vegan, soy free, lactose free, no artificial sweeteners, no gluten . Each shake has 20g of protein, plus lots of vitamins and amino acids and other nutrients needed for good health. It's very easy to mix just add a scoop to a shaker bottle with water and shake. The texture is smooth and not heavy like dairy based shakes.Flavour is initially creamy and sweet vanila, which then fades to a sweet green bean veggie flavour. I've had a few shakes and the aftertaste really is a love it or hate it type of thing. I'm still undecided which it is for me.You get 3 bags totaling 1.8kg which is enough for 1 shake a day for almost 2 months, which is not the best value. But this is so nutritionally dense it makes up for the price.Good quality, ok value. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

This seems to be marketed towards women but I see no reason why anyone can't use it. I ordered it for my other half as she liked that it was plant based, had no added sugars, soy free, and has a complete amino-acid profile. It also contains live cultures (which is unusual).Like most protein shakes it couldn't be easier to make. Mix one scoop (30g) with 250ml of water in a protein shaker, give it a shake, and voila an easy to make protein shake. Being vanilla we found the taste to be fairly bland but drinkable.Overall we're very happy with the protein powder. Recommended.

I blend it in my trusty old blender, the kind that has been around for ages but still manages to do its job well, as my young students are getting ready for school. The vanilla flavour is quite nice but a bit subtle for my taste; I like to add a drizzle of honey to give it that extra boost! Sarah from work also tried it during lunch, and we both think it could benefit from a touch more sweetness to really hit the spot.I've been experimenting a little with it. I have to say, it blends smoothly. While water works well enough, I found that using plant-based milk gives it a lovely creamy texture. The nutritional content is rather impressive, packed with plenty of vitamins and good things that make me feel like I'm taking care of my body. The packaging is quite substantial. It has been with me for around two months now! Although I am getting used to the whole protein shake routine in the morning, it is slowly becoming a regular fixture in my mornings. Sometimes, I completely forget that it's just sitting in my cupboard. However, when I do remember to have it in the morning, I feel quite good about my choice.

Wow!! Currently on a fitness journey in my 40's and have become lactose abd gluten allergic. When I read of this product I was drawn by all the excellent ingredients and amount of protein per scoop! It arrived within 16 HOURS of ordering!! Enjoyed it for breakfast as soon as it arrived. Mixes to a luxurious texture, smells dessert like, incredible value for money, under a pound per protein shake so to speak, filled me up brilliantly and versatility to mix with other things! Very pleased!

I use protien shakes periodically to supplement my diet, I'm not vegan or vegetarian but do eat predominantly plant based foods for health reasons so a little extra protein now and again seems like a sensible thing to do to me. I do go to the gym but I'm not into pumping iron in any meaningful way - again its just for the benefit of my health so am not looking to shakes to bulk up, only top to top up my protein intake.I have tried various protein shakes over time, generally the ones that are designed for bulking up so when I spotted this one that seems more for general use I was interested to sample it.The powder comes in 600g resealable sachets, I do prefer the plastic tubs that are more common but I have empty ones that I emptied the powder in to as the tubs are much more convenient. You get a 30g scoop in each sachet which is handy. The directions are to mix the powder with water, which I did but the resulting drink was a bit insipid - a slightly chalky texture and the flavour was a bit like artificially sweetened cardboard! There was a slightly coconutty taste with a hint of vanilla - I dont mind drinks like this too much but I reckon that most people would not likely enjoy it. I decided to mix it as a milk shake which made the whole affair much tastier. Rather than just using cows milk, I tend to use 50% cows milk and 50% unsweetned oat milk which adds a lovely creaminess (try it in coffee, its great). So 1 scoop of powder to about 300 ml of milk, pop it in a shaker and bingo, the drink comes to life.Mixing it this way brings out the vanilla flavour a lot more and just makes it a nicer experience overall. The coconutty flavour is also enhanced. Id describe the flavour as vanilla-coconut rather than just plain vanilla. If I had a criticism of the drink it would be that the taste of artificial sweeteners is quite strong, not unpleasant, but not too far from it. In general I dont mind this taste too much but as I say it is pretty strong. Its curious that the listing states that theres no artificial sweeteners included so it may be Stevia or something similar. In addition to this the overall texture of the drink is slighly grainy (think fresh banana milkshake grainy). Im not really fussy about much but the wrong texture can put some people off so maybe bear this in mind. There are various other methods of use for the powder listed on the pack, I'm particularly intrigued by the make it into pancakes suggestion which I intend to try at some point so it is more versatile than just having as a drink. The list of additional ingredients in the powder is impressive and attests to its suitability for general use. I ordered the triple pack at £49.50 which privides 1.8Kg of powder which to me seems like a good deal and will keep me going for months.

This tastes like most protein powders that I have tried before, where the smell is a bit nicer than the actual flavour. It has a strong and plesant vanilla smell, which a bit toned down once it's made into a shake. It's quick and east to make the powder into a nicely texture shake. The nutrient profile seems really good as an extra bonus to it having good protein amounts and probiotics (especially good considering this is dairy free). It's filling too, so makes a nice and easy good quality replacement to breakfast.

Very impressed with this product it mixes smoothly in a blender or a shaker with this being just vanilla. I did add some fruit to this just to give it a bit more flavour and it’s absolutely gorgeous. This is a 20 serving park and it’s currently down to £16.20 with an extra 10% off promo code making it a really good deal compare to others out there on the market I found this really does help keep you full for longer as well as being good for you has a good protein count and it’s a very palatable as well which is a huge plus for me because sometimes I can’t quite get away with the taste or the texture of certain products like this

I've been trying out different protein powders lately, and I must say this one has lived up to my expectations rather well, in my opinion. The vanilla flavour is not overpowering or artificial but quite mild, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. What really stood out was how well it mixes - no lumps or that powdery texture you often get with other brands. I just gave it a quick stir with a spoon, and it blended perfectly. The shake's nutritional profile is quite decent, with 20 grams of pea protein, plus gut-friendly fibre and MCT oils. Speaking as someone who's tried it after workouts, it's not my first choice. It still provides good nutrition, though. Having it feels more like going through the motions than actually enjoying it. It's decent enough, but not particularly indulgent. To make it a bit tastier for my liking, I ended up adding some honey, which worked a treat. While the marketing seems to target women, at its core it's simply a plant-based protein that could benefit anyone, regardless of their preferences. The flavour does tend towards the subtle side. It might make a useful addition to your daily routine.Worth giving it a go - you might find it's just what you're looking for.

I've been really trying to find my next favourite plant based protein powder after trying many different ones and not enjoying the taste. This one is good, but the vanilla taste could be stronger for sure! There isn't too much of the whey'y taste (which is exactly what I would be after because it's not a great taste!). The powder mixed well which was also a plus and shows the product has been made well.
The delivery was ridiculously quick- I was expecting it to arrive after one week and it arrived on the doorstep less than 24 hours after I clicked 'order'! This was a very pleasing surprise.
I would be interested in purchasing another product but perhaps trying a different flavour to see if other tastes are stronger.

This is a tasty protein shake that mixes well and provides some good quality ingredients that are especially tailored to women. I like that it includes probiotics and that it is dairy free - I'm not sure if it's vegan. I'd have welcomed a few instructions as I'm not a body builder and wasn't sure if it could be used as a meal replacement for when you want to lose a couple of pounds. I'm assuming that you can as I replace breakfast with this for a nutritional start to the day.

I ordered the EatProtein Plant-Based Protein + Wellness Powder for my partner, and she is very impressed with it. When mixed with water, it tastes great, and she's pleased that it is vegan and free from dairy, lactose, gluten, soy, artificial flavours, sweeteners, and added sugars. This makes it a clean and guilt-free choice for her dietary needs. The vanilla flavour is delightful, making it easy to incorporate into her daily routine. Although it is too early to observe any specific health benefits, she is hopeful that consistent use will yield positive results over time. The 1.8kg supply is generous and should last her a good two months.Overall, this wellness powder has met her expectations in terms of taste and ingredient quality.

The powder comes in a resealable pouch and inside you’ll find a measuring scoop. When I opened the pouch, I got the strong smell of vanilla, and the smell was lovely, so I was very keen to try it out. I’ve never been a fan of protein shakes which are mixed with water but maybe they’ve changed a bit since I last tried them. I mixed a full scoop and 250ml of water in a blender and it gave a nice consistency. Using this specified mix gives a total of 106 calories if you’re calorie counting. 225 calories if you mix with semi-skimmed milk, I’ll touch on this later. It took me a short while to distinguish the taste as it’s something I’ve had before, but the taste definitely didn’t remind me of vanilla. After passing the drink around the family, we came to the conclusion that the taste was of raw potato with a little sweetness. As I had more of it though, the taste kind of stabilized, or I got used to it, and it started to change from a potato flavour to more of a peanut flavour which I found more better for the palette. I finished the glass without issue, and I didn’t mind the drink at all. I had another one the next day and I didn’t mind the flavour at all, but it definitely didn’t taste of vanilla, at least to the four of us who tried it. Replacing the water with semi skimmed milk improved the flavour by quite a bit and turned it into quite a delicious drink, even though this goes against the dairy and lactose free nature of the powder. I had the slight taste of vanilla, and the strong peanut flavour came through with a slightly creamy texture, but it was a lovely drink. The amount of nutrients in this protein shake is quite a good number and it’s nice to see them jam packed with goodness. The flavour with water fell a little flat with me though and even though I didn’t mind it, it wouldn’t have me looking forward to the next one. Mixing it with milk though completely changed it for me and I’ll happily finish of the 2-month supply as I found the taste very morish and delicious. This does of course go against the dairy and lactose free point of this particular protein powder but if you’re fine with milk, this is definitely worth adding to your shake list…

The EatProtein Plant Based Protein + Wellness Powder is good as a vegan protein option specifically designed for women. It's great to find a product that is dairy, lactose, gluten, and soy-free, with no artificial flavours, sweeteners, or added sugars. The vanilla flavour is quite pleasant, and I like that it comes in a generous 600g size with 20 servings. However, I did find that the texture was a bit gritty for my taste. While I expected some natural texture from a plant-based protein powder, it didn't blend as smoothly as I'd hoped, even when mixed in with smoothies or my favourite almond milk. I recommend using a good blender with some ice added to help achieve a creamier consistency.Despite that small disappointment, I still believe this product is a solid choice for anyone looking for a clean, plant-based protein supplement. The nutritional benefits are good, and the peace of mind from knowing that I’m consuming something free from harmful additives is great.

Taste/texture is comparable to any other protein powder - I'm not a fan of any of them tbh but for health's sake I drink them and this is on the nicer end of the scale but it's still not 'nice' imho. The 5 stars is for the amazing benefits, so much goodness crammed into one scoop for an amazing price. This is my go to brand now, amazing value for money (even if it is a bit of a chore to chug it down each morning!)

This is a vegan based protein shake but somehow has quite a creamy texture - it does contain some coconut and although I can't specifically taste it, I wonder if this helps.I've had pea based protein shakes before, but the initial taste is quite strong of pea flour and artificial sweetness, however, after the initial first sips, I decided that I did like the sweet vanilla taste and couldn't so much taste the bitterness of the peas. There is a scoop inside the bag but I did need to use a tablespoon to find it. The mixture blends really well with just cold water and a stir - very little residue left in the glass.

Protein powders are incredibly versatile – you can bake with them, blend them into smoothies, and more. This means you can usually find ways to use up a bag, even if you don't love the flavor on its own. However, this vanilla pea protein powder from EatProtein truly stands out. It has the best flavour of any I've tried so far, and on my ww diet is 1 point. The vanilla is subtle and natural, not overly sweet or artificial. I appreciate the delicate sweetness – less is definitely more when it comes to protein powder. The included scoop makes it easy to measure the 30g servings. The 600g pouch provides 20 servings, which works out to be very affordable.Overall, I highly recommend this protein powder.

It’s by far the best protein powder I’ve ever tried! Lovely taste and not at all grainy like many others, will definitely order again!

Supplied in an easy to open (and reseal), vanilla coloured bag, this pea protein is formulated and marketed for women. Inside the pouch is 600g of very fine, vanilla flavoured powder, along with a scoop. The instructions suggest mixing it with 250ml of water, so I took my trusty shaker, added the water, and then the powder. The mix literally took seconds; it blends very well, with no clumps of dry powder or residue sticking to the sides of the shaker bottle. However, my first issue arose when I gave it to my wife. After a suspicious sniff and a taste, she said it was too artificially sweet for her liking.I decided to give it a try myself since I drink far more protein shakes than she does. What’s the worst that could happen, right? To me, it smells and tastes of vanilla. I also find it a bit creamy (the coconut?) and nutty. However, I agree with my wife that it is noticeably sweetened, though I don’t find it too unpleasant. It ranks among some of the more pleasant protein shakes I’ve had. With a suggested serving size of 30g, this 600g bag should provide 20 servings. At the current price, this eat protein powder offers good value for money and compares very favourably with the bulk-buy whey powder that I also purchase.

Exceptional product. I’m always wary about trying new products. Found them on TikTok shop, and I’m so impressed. This protein powder is the best tasting by far on the market. Highly recommend.

Always skeptical about plant based protein shakes, but this is incredible and has more protein than the standard protein shake you’d get on the market. V impressed with this brand.

10/10 in taste. Just like a vanilla milkshake from McDonald’s, I added some ice and really gave it a good shake! 🥛 I’ve been drinking it for the last 6 weeks and have noticed improvements in my performance, body and mental health too.

This comes with a scoop in a resealable pouch. Mine had about 11 months before BBE date, was dry and lump free. The macros are pretty good and what you would expect for pea protein. The sugars are low and there is a good amount of fibre. There is also a good mix of micro nutrients if these are of interest to you.The powder mixes very easily in a protein shaker. Pea protein's tend to give a slightly grainy drink and this is no exception. The flavour of raw pea protein is also definitely there and only slightly masked by the vanilla flavouring. I'm used to drinking unflavoured protein drinks and found the taste of this perfectly acceptable but if you like sweet creamy drinks this isn't it.Pea protein is a decent plant based protein especially for people avoiding soy protein. It is a complete protein containing all the essential amino acids. The price is OK if you are interested in the micro nutrients but if you want it just for the macro's cheaper pea protein powders are available.

As a non-dairy eater I thought I'd order this vegan protein powder as it looked like it had a great set of ingredients. I like the fact that it contains B vitamins has I probably don't get enough of these and also digestive enzymes. I'm new to protein powders so I wasn't sure what to expect but I've been pleasantly surprised. It was very easy to measure and mix using the scoop provided and tasted really nice. Just sweet enough without being overly sweet and a very pleasant vanilla. I did find the texture a bit unusual as it still feels a bit grainy when mixed but not unpleasant so I'm still happy to drink it. I mixed it with water but I'm going to try plant milk next time. It has a use by date of around 11 months and seems reasonably priced for 20 servings so I'm happy to recommend it.

Sometimes I find that protein powders can be a little over sweet due to the high sweetener content. As such I don’t often use a full scoop at a time but with this one I thought I’d give the full scoop a try to offer a fair review. I found this dissolved well with no issues mixing it into my porridge which I how I usually use protein powders. I found the vanilla flavour nice and well balanced and despite my initial reservations at using a full scoop I did not find the flavour sickly at all - just the right amount of sweetness for me. I also really like the other added nutritional benefits for digestion this powder claims to offer as this is unique feature for a protein powder. Overall I would say this is up there as one of the best vegan protein supplements I have tried.

One 30g scoop of this gives you 20g of protein so it's incredibly protein rich! It's also got a decent amount of fibre in it which is always good.I was surprised by the amount of stuff in this, including being fortified with decent amounts of magnesium (100mg per 30g scoop), and with vitamin B6, B9 (folic acid) and B12. I don't love that things are fortified because if I'm already taking supplements or am eating other fortified foods (eg breakfast cereals), I end up getting really high amounts of some of these things - higher than I really ought to be getting. But if you aren't taking any other supplements and are not consuming any other fortified foods, then this shouldn't be an issue. In addition to being fortified with some minerals and B vitamins, it also contains some digestive enzymes (amylase, protease, lipase, cellulase and lactase) - I'm not sure why they have added these, as apart from cellulase, we do make these enzymes ourselves and the average person shouldn't need supplementation with them as far as I'm aware. It even contains some probiotics! - (Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifido bacterium). It is sweetened with stevia which allows it to be low GI while still feeling sweet.Overall, an interesting health supplement that is definitely more than just a protein powder. The best before date on mine was for 1 year from the date of arrival.

This protein powder is excellent value at £12.50 for 20 servings. The re-sealable packet has excellent information on it including detailed nutritional value and ingredients list. I tested it first mixed in water, and it tasted great to me with a good vanilla flavour and not too sweet. I also like it added to mu morning smoothie and a small amount added to coffee to create a vanilla latte. In warmer weather I will add it to frozen bananas and other fruit when making ice cream in a high-speed blender The use by date gives you a year to consume it, but this will be used long before then!

You can do lots of different things with protein powders such as baking and making smoothies so when you buy a big bag of protein powder you don't particularly like the flavour of you can always find a way to use the bag up to disguise the taste. And to be honest, most protein powders fall into this camp for me bar from a couple that I usually stick to.However, this vanilla pea protein powder from EatProtein is one of the best that I've tried to date when it comes to flavour and being able to drink the serving as is. The strength of the vanilla is natural and subtle and not sickly sweet, in your face, like a lot are these days. The sweetness of the powder is just right too. I always think when it comes to sweetness, less is more. It's much easier to add natural sweetness rather than take it away!A scoop is included in the packet and each serving is 30g so in this 600g pouch you get 20 servings. That works out to just over 60 pence per serving. Not bad at all! Five out of five stars from me for usability, taste and value for money.

I find some protein powders, particularly flavoured ones, to be unbearably sweet, but this one has a nice balance! I don’t generally just have shakes with water, I’ll make a smoothie, or use them with milk and crushed ice and it feels like a treat, this was pretty tasty!
